Psychotherapist wanted for nursing home in Lucerne
We are looking for a motivated independent psychothearist with an affinity for geriatrics for a geriatric nursing home in Lucerne.
The organisation:
It is an interdisciplinary and vibrant institution with several locations around Lucerne city. The organisation makes an important contribution to geriatric care in the region with a wide range of different professions. You will have the psychotherapeutic care of residents of the different institutions and work closely with the medical team of the home as well as with the care and nursing staff and geriatric nurses.
The area:
Lucerne is located in central Switzerland and lies at the foot of the Alps. It is the ideal location for outdoor sports such as mountain biking and snowboarding/skiing. You can be on the ski slopes within half an hour but if you would like to go to Italy once in a while, that is also possible within 2.5 hours! Also, Zurich is less than an hour away.
What do we expect:
- A completed bachelor’s degree in psychotherapy
- Clinical experience in the intramural sector, ideally experience with gerontological psychotherapy
- Enjoyment in dealing with older people
- A high degree of social competence and enjoyment in interprofessional cooperation and in teamwork and communication skills
- Independent and structured way of working and sense of responsibility
- Good knowledge of German (B2)
